yes ,
the results of the survey do in fact represent expectation vs. satisfaction.
if a brand promises something that it cannot deliver then you get a very low expectation number.
the problem with most european cars ,and german cars in particular , is their very poor reliability ratings as a result of A) poor quality control and,
B) jumping in with untested electronics
now ,in the case of skoda and seat, the fact is that they are licensees of vw and thus utilize vw components in their assembly process.but as a previous poster stated ,whoever purchases these cars do not expect what the purchaser of a bmw or mb does and further neither the seat or skoda is loaded up with all the gitzmos that mb and bmw add . thus ,the problems.
so ,the audi brand being in fact an upscale vw but adding all of the gitzmos ,shows a very low satisfaction level unlike seat and skoda
