I bought my Aero on 11/30 and have been pleasantly surprised by a number of things, but today takes the cake. While at work, freezing rain, snow and sleet dumped on the city, and I was dreading the drive home.
I activated the "Winter" button on the tranny, and crossed my fingers. The well-used Michelin Pilot Primacy's performed magnificently, and I experienced nary a slip. I watched all sorts of cars around me slip and slide, but I had no problems except for stopping on pure ice.
Having driven Volvos for 15 years, I was hoping the Saab would do well in adverse conditions....I figure if a car is designed/made by Swedes (maybe not since GM, but hell if I know), it should do well in snow/slush/ice. I was in awe over how well it drove. Bravo Saab!
