I was thinking the same thing when I finally was able to see the thing in person. Even though it's a departure from the old styling cues it still has a unique "what the hell is that?" Saab look to it. Seems a lot more refined than my 02. I guess after 7 years they have worked out alot of the issues in the basic underpinnings which is a plus of buying this car which is late in its cycle. Feels heavier than my 02 but tighter and quicker..also sounds like they have retuned the exaust it has a deeperand smoother growl to it. This car looked.felt.and sounded menancing I loved it. Can't think of where I could get as much car for the price. You can get a few more toys in the Jap-mobiles but they don't feel as solid as this at speed, with awd it would be a no-brainer. I would say to all the skeptics go for a test drive see if the fugly grill sorta grows on you. I'm still shopping for now but the 06 is on top of my list any thoughts on other 06 cars with the same size, performance, and comfort for the money? It's the the resale on Saabs that makes me want to shop around.
