My '04 9-5 wagon is 2 years old next month. I have been to the dealer for 2 oil changes and one windshield wiper (which i replaced myself). i.e: no problems, no annoyances, no rattles or funny noises.
You should understand that this is mostly a trouble-shooting forum. People aren't going to post- "well I have no problems with my car- any advice ?"
While I can't comment specifically on the 2006 9-5, I can say that many of us have trouble free, quality 9-5's and thoroughly enjoy their high 'fun-factor'.
I should add that SAAB has issued a couple minor service bulletins (recalls) for this vehicle (oil trap, hose of some sort). These were taken care of when the oil was changed. Seems SAAB is pretty proactive about identifying potential problems. That's my story thus far, others may differ.
