Some people don't mind larger panel gaps from polymer panels because they don't get dings, don't rust, and stay looking newer longer. There's a whole contingent of Saturn loyalists that only want plastic panels. Just go to saturnfans.com and see for yourself. It's like hatchbacks and Saabs.

And you should know that Saturn buyers are among the more affluent of the GM mainstream brand buyers (similar to other import non-luzury brand buyers), so they are the type that would possibly move up into a Saab.

As for Saabs, yes the dealers should treat customers like luxury car buyers. I can't even get 45 day customization service out of my Saab dealer with my new Saab even though I bought two others from the same dealer.
