I don't agree with your comments about Saturn dealers. First, they are rated amongst the best dealerships overall, which assures Saab clients a pleasant experience. Judging from the many recurring comments on these BBs, it beats being treated as a second class client in a, for example, Cadillac oriented dealership. When I go into my Saab/Saturn dealership, I am not treated differently because I have a Saab, but I don't need to because the service is first class for everybody. I guess that's what democracy should be. Second, Saabs now have segregated, Scandinavian styled showrooms with all available models on one floor. Third, with the coming Saturns, based on Opels, you will see more and more cross shopping between the two brands. It's high time for Saab to put a turbo on future model development
Also, as Caarma pointed out, plastic Saturns are being phased out, and loyal Saturn owners are not happy about it. Better to have a small gap between pristine panels than a tight fit between Swiss cheese looking panels. With our Winter climate, roads are swamped with road salt for 5 months of the year and yet, the first generation Saturns (with the Olds looking rear ends) are still around without a trace of rust. More than I can say about it's Asian, European or American counterparts.
