Too much too soon, you should try and piece it back together 1st. If you replace the chain, and it doesn't make any unusual noises, you'll likely get lotsa' miles out of her before she blows prematurely at 150k instead of 250k, or at least last until you can sell it or trade it in. I'd clean the sump and screen at the same time, 'cuz your preminition is likely correct, lack of maintenance caused the timing chaing failure, but you say the chain hasn't failed yet. Suit yourself, but I'd try and kluge it back together and hope you get lucky. I would think a timing chain replacement and sump clean out would be well under $1k at an indy.
