Adam -- Any luck? Did you go through the dealer or a Pirelli retailer?
I've got an 04 Aero < 10,000 and I'm ready for tires and brakes.

Way to much Aero Academy driving...

BTW: Your 04 is eligible for more FREE DEALER SERVICE than you may think. I had an oil change recently (over 18 months of hard driving) and the dealer charged me for the service.

Not expecting a charge, I asked the dealer about the FREE service. They said it was only for the 15k service interval -- as outlined in the manuals.

Oddly enough, my battery had died a just after the service -- stranding me in the parking garage at work for a good 2 hours -- while I waited for SAAB emergency roadside service.

Having little else to do, I went through the glovebox and read everything (twice). One of the items was a hangtag promoting the FREE Service on 04 models. Read much like the manauls, with one HUGE exception.

Right next to the 15k interval -- there's verbiage about "or 12 months, whichever...."

The dealer went through his file cabinet of 04 manuals and marketing materials -- he didn't have the hang tag. Said I was the first customer with an 04 to mention it.

He made a photocopy and I'm guessing they got a labor code from SAAB becasue they refunded like $80 or $90 bucks back to my debit card.

So, if any 04 owners want a copy of this hangtag, just let me know.
