Sounds like you're burning more stress than rubber...sorry to hear it.
My experince (with Saab USA, dealers & third party vendors) has been typical. They work hard to establish non-responsibility for your problem. Once they've established that it's not their problem or responsibility, they do little or nothing to help the consumer.
Last questions....were your wear indicaters clearly visable? Did the dealer service center send pics to Pirelli? Any details on the "mysterious" TSB?
Pirelli North America is just up I-75 from me (I'm in Atl, GA)....think I may stop by for a visit.
Any helpful names you'd like to pass along? Anyone you'd like to have slapped around : )
