9-5 somewhat more reliable. Try to find a 9k with working ac that is actually cold. Other than that same main problems but the features are nicer on the 9-5(stereo nice but the sid failures are a major problem) Base 9k vs base 9-5 performance…. 9k is much better. More power in the 2.0 89 9kt and the car drive flater to the road. A really solid ride. Now on the flip side if you are picking up clients the 9-5 is newer looking(06 still looks about the same as 99)
Also the 9ks are getting old so more age problems with those. Paint, cracking seats, plastic parts breaking……. You get the idea..
loved my 89 9k t but it nice to have a car that is not that old
