My Mechanic went to change my Serpentine Belt on my 03 Aero Automatic and get the belt at Saab. He called me to say it is 6" too short. I called around this morning and both Danbury Saab and Roberti said it is the correct belt. They both said the center pulley is now bypassed with the new belt. Is this true? If anyone has a diagram or can explain how it is run, can you let me know?
Why did they make this change? I heard it was due to that pulley always causing problems?
Thanks as usual for your knowledge!!!!!!
