the reason I had so many 9000's in just a few years! I bought in the 20k's and sold just under the end of warranty. I did amasingly well, and loved each and every 9000 I owned. Then I got seduced...first bu the looks of the NG900..easpecially the dash...had a red 900set from 23 to 65k...didn't think I'd ever sell that one..advertised it 3 times..finally a buyer 10 months later at a good price. then along came the 9-5 wagon. I really fell for it. I leased it, so I wouldn't have to face selling, and the depreciation. I've been disenchanted with new Saabs since.
Maybe I gave up too easy...
Still love those 9000's. I followed the 9-5 with my '91 9000T. It felt and fit better than anything I'd had to date. Unfortunately, from 100k to 155k, I replaced a lot....was once asked by the dealer cashier if I was with Saab...I was there so much. Maybe when Zak is older, I can give another one the attention it demands.
As far as the 9-5 is concerned, I simply don't think it's worth the trouble...
