Owning and driving a SAAB is something most don't understand. It's surely a narrow-market car. I for one love the engineering, features, and overall thought that went into the layout. Did I mention safety? Yes, I like the styling too. If SAAB could isolate the road noise like Lexus has managed to do, the value would stand out more during a test drive. I get the same stuff from people I work with. "WHY" did you buy one of those? Are you nuts? OR, you are stupider than I thought? A few months ago, a friend from work was giving me a hard time about my SAAB and I said what are you driving? He said a brand new Hyundai Tucson. He went on to say it was the best vehicle for $21K that he could find. I looked at it and what a piece of tin. Cloth seats, cheap plastic everwhere, etc. But it has a 10 year warranty. He then asked what did your SAAB set you back? Well, I bought it used (a 2002 Arc) with 45K miles for $16K last February. He shut up after that. A few days later, he looked ay my car and once he sat in it, he said "Wow", is this ever nice. You paid how much? I want another 9-5 when mine wears out or the CPO expires? I've enjoyed the worry-free warranty (CPO) and might want another with CPO.
