I live in a pretty affluent area of Bellevue, Washington where it isn’t uncommon to see a few Bentley's a day driving around town and what have you. Close friends, for the most part, appreciate my car while people I hardly know are the ones to show such a dislike for my car. Sure, these people are also just simply ***holes, because I can’t imagine ever giving someone that I barely know a hard time about the car they drive. But Saab has managed to establish a pretty poor public reputation given by how much dislike I have seen for the brand. It’s really too bad, because they are such great cars. I will admit that you can’t just hop in a 9-5 for a quick test drive and really appreciate it. For me, it took time and familiarization with the car and its features to really appreciate it, though I have never in my life had a bad association with the Saab nameplate.
