Hope you're not right and he really is making this product. But as to the SID text info, this is actually fairly well documented on the web and in pdf's you can find on the web. All you want to do is inject text messages to the SID, very straight forward to do, see site ref below. In fact, I was toying with the idea of writing some j2me code for my phone (I'm a software developer, and do this all the time for my own personal apps on my phone) which would grab messages off the i-bus, interpret them, and send to the SID as text, plus some other fun stuff, just need to find the time!
