I am the proud new owner of a 2001 aero. It came with summer tires. I decided to get some all seasons for new england. NTB could not get all the lugs off of one of wheels. They had a tough time getting some of the lugs off the other wheels. I said told them to forget it and I will spray it all wheek with PB blaster and come back. A week later they still couldn't get it and they said they could torch it but the wheel would be trashed. I decided to think about it. Go home. ponder a while. stop in to a parts store for something else and decide to see if they had any breaker bars. They had a 2 footer. Get it home and four seconds of steady heavy pressure and "CRACK"!!! The nut loosened!
I had the new tires mounted at a place at work. I decide to remove the wheels specifically to put some antiseize onthe bolts and the mating surface of the wheel and I could hrdly get the bolts loose because the place tightened them so much.
By the way, How the hell does the stock jack work? What do i stick in the hole that turns the jack's screw?
