May like the cold, but not very well designed for snow

The engine may run fine, but the body design is crappy for snowy weather.
I find that the car doors stick when there is snow and ice on the car roof. The handles fill up with snow and can get stuck. The problem is that the rubber lining that seals the car door with the roof can fill with ice. The handle is designed so that one can open the car with one's palms facing down, but that also means that it fills up with snow.
I've noticed that the older Saabs and Volvos seem to have a gutter running along the roof edge under which the doors shut. This is perfect for the snow and ice as the doors never stick. The handles are designed to be opened palms up so that snow sits ontop of the handle instead of inside it.
All in all, a bit of a disappointment in a car designed in Sweden.
