I decided to do the job myself. (Honestly, I didn't trust the dealer).
An easy method is to loosen the lug nuts, raise the car, and let it drop fast on the tire. That breaks the rust. I was really surprised at how much corrosion there was. I cleaned it all off with a wire brush and re-greased the wheel/hub interface. The wheels and hubs on my 97 9000 seem like they are made from a better grade of metal.
Thanks for all your suggestions.
