A classic symptom after fuel filter changed, long cranks after a long rest.
Decaying rubber bits from banjo bolts washers escape into fuel lines, and interfere with fuel pressure regulator. Allows fuel line pressure to bleed off over a period of time, requiring time for the pump to recharge the fuel rail.
Although usually pausing before cranking (with ign on) helps, sounds like you've done this?
I like the temp sensor, maybe not rich enough to start cold?
FPR is not terribly spendy if you want to try thowing a few cheap parts at it.
