It sounds like you're getting voltage to the fuel pump...and no fuel under pressure into the fuel rail.
Take the screw-on cap off of the test connector on the fuel rail (it's only a dust cover). After a start attempt...briefly depress the needle in the middle of the test connector....fuel should squirt out under pressure (35 psi is spec.). No squirt indicates that the fuel pump has probably gone south. Replace the fuel filter at the same time you replace the pump. eEuroparts charges $415.00 the last time I looked....and shipping is free.
