...but I like tuning these cars, and once you get higher in the HP range the autobox is limited. To me, it's an Aero, so it should be manual. I had to drive 7 hours one way to pick up my 2001 Aero because there were none available. My 2003 Aero was 1400 miles away so I paid over a grand to have it shipped because it was the only manual I could find. I had a 9000 that was automatic, and while it's a poor comparison I realize, I kicked myself every time I got in the car because it wasn't a manual. While I personally would never drive an automatic, the one complaint I had with the manual transmission was how sloppy it was. I installed a polyurethane transmission mount and short-shift kit and that was cured. My purposes/goals may be different than yours, but finding the manual transmission is rare, and I have ALWAYS been glad that I took the extra time to find the manual. Cheers.
