chirp's are program-able. You can (with a tech II) set the number, volume and presence of chirps.
Service Theft Alarm is unrelated, and means that the computer detected a fault in the alarm system. It's most likely low siren batteries but could be something else. Only Tech II can tell you for sure. (most of us bet on low batteries and change them out ... btw lots of new info on this search recent posts)
