Need to make a tough call. I have a 1998 9K 5 spd. That's a blast to drive, haul's everthing, roomy awesome seats etc. The only thing that bothers me is the fog problem I have once in a while and the musty smell I get. It's not all the time but when it's there it's unpleasant. I cleared all the drains etc. Still no help, also it idles rough. I have a chance to purchase a 2003 95 Aero fully optioned except for the vented seats. It's in pretty good shape except for a bit of road rash on the hood and a small scrape that resulted in getting new paint on the right rear door and quarter panel (Excellent job) from the first body crease down. And the common chip here and there. Also the Aero has 87k and my 9000 has 170k. The Aero comes with 100k SAAB warranty till 8/09. I've got a friend for the 9000 at $4900.00 (has a new $2000. stereo system in it with Dura-Liner in all doors and floor.) And the Aero is available for $9500.00. My delema is I know the 9000 will go forever with proper maintanace but will the Aero be semi trouble free for the next 70k or so. Two differnet machines and I only have experience with one.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
