I changed mine this past Sat. too. My brake pads were Saab and the rotors are GM. I decided to get the rotors turned since they are in really good shape (pads were too, just couldn't take the dust and noise that was starting). I've read where the Akebono's don't need a bed-in done so I just drove around a bunch of blocks normally and parked it. Drove it to work on Monday and noticed a slight bump (that "warped rotor" feel), more noticeable on an exit ramp when at a good speed. Feels,to me, like it's in the rear. I've been doing my own brakes for years and never had this happen before. Thinking of taking everything apart again and cleaning the rotors up with a wire wheel on my grinder. It doesn't sound like the same symptoms, but I'm as confused as you.
