The fuel tank baffle came loose on my 2004 Aero wagon just before the warranty expired. I was having fuel guage issues also. The first fix was the dealer mechanic repositioned the baffle but it came loose again. Then, after talking to the mechanic I had him pull out the baffle. I hear a little sloshing when I pull the car into the garage but don't notice it out on the road.
