Of course, never take the first offer from the insurance company, but the adjuster is about right on the value of your car. For example, CarMax has three '06 9-5 wagons with under 20K miles for between $22.6K and $23.6K but they're far from the Bay Area. There's a wagon that looks like yours in 'Beverly Hills' with under 20K miles for under $25K and it's CPO. Either way, try to get at least another $1K-$2K out of the insurance and don't forget tax & license in California will set you back another 10%. And I surely wouldn't buy 'new' until around year end when the huge incentives on previous model year 9-5s have traditionally come out.
