Buying a 9-5 with 100,000+ mi. Bad idea?

Hello folks. I know there are plenty of posts dealing with this question. I previously made a poor purchasing decision with my SPG. As a college student I don't have the time to address all of the problems it has (something new fails on average about every 2 weeks). I'm currently looking at a 9-5 aero with 97k on the clock. Its solid and my Saab mechanic assures me its a good buy. I have always had Saabs and need to know if this one is going to be a good car well into the future. What types of problems arise as a 9-5 ages into the 200,000+ mile range? Any head gasket, water pump, trans, suspension, alternator, or other major problems that are associated with this car as it ages?
Thanks a ton,
Tim
