You should report back to the bb again after this winter (or any other year-round WR drivers)... would be interesting to hear how they perform in snow + ice this year after being driven through the summer as well... if they are about as good this year as last, that's a real good tire...
One thing tire comparison reviews often don't consider is how the tires perform after substantial wear. Winter tires usually have softer rubber compounds that wear quickly in warm temperatures, and this is especially true of some of the unstudded "ice tires"... There was a Scandinavian review (Swedish? Finnish?) that compared several tires (including Blizzak and Hakkas) near the end of life. Interesting results (Hakka did quite a lot better iirc). I wonder if the WR compound is a little harder + a little better wearing than the Hakkas (and especially some of the ice tire brands)... As an aside, I think studs probably help improve winter tire wear. My parents have 10 year old studded Hakkas on their 1989 900s and the performance in snow + ice is still incredible - better than our brand new (unstudded) Hakka4's!
