Car temp gauge shot up shortly after failure of belt. I quickly turned the car off to prevent further damage from overheating. It wouldn't restart at the time. Later the car started fine once cooled... is this a feature of the car to not start if it senses the engine is too hot? Thinking it's unrelated to cps.
May call Saab dealer back and have them go ahead with repair, minus the cps and see what happens. Don't want to drop the $$ if at all possible.
Thanks again
