would do. I highly recommend an Aero and I agree with paul de k and we all live in the same state right?? There are known problem areas but knowing what you can do, they should post no trouble at all.
You can't beat the hatch in the 9K however, unless you can find a 9-5 wagon in good shape.
I know you want cheap but if you can do a 2002 Aero or later, you'll have a very nice replacement for the 9000. Saab used LED for instrument lighting from 2002-2003 on so you don't even have to replace those tiny light bulbs. You will have so few trouble with a 9-5, you can spend your time on your BMW instead.
