Have you ever replaced the CPS ? if not you are overdue. The fan running and some of the other stuff could be from the battery draining down, even though it appears to have good power the electrical system controls in the Saab seem to need a high level to allow cranking. Also near the tstat are a bunch of connectors - O2 sensor and CPS, so that crap gets brittle over time and you might want to check that out for damage.
Not sure about the ABS but i wouldn't worry about that until you can start yer engine.
