Thanks for all the replies.
I am aware of the de-contenting issue, but don't really have a preference either way. SID's are relatively cheap fixes, and sludge can be inspected for.
I actually prefer the 2003 spoiler and bumper, since I can remove the lower lip on 2003 for more clearance, as opposed to the 04 which is one piece. I'm still confused if the approach angle is improved with the 04, but regardless, it will get scraped and need to be painted.
Going out to test drive a few this weekend - my 98 9000 CSE (2nd one) is creeping up on 200k and I don't want to put any more time or money into it. BTW - did saab finally figure out how to make a middle muffler that doesn't rot out every 2 years?
