Lack of ABS only........ Brakes will still work fine, it is only the ABS function that may not be working. I say "may not" because the most common failure code is P1925 which means the communication between the ABS controller and the ECU has failed. The ABS controller may still be able to do its thing even without this communicaiton link, or maybe not.
As tempting as the ~$150 repair is, don't jump on it until you get a CEL with code P1925. Other even less expensive things, such as wheel speed sensor at $65, or broken wire at nearly $0, may be the culprit.
Wait to see if you get a code, or pay a Tech for a half-hour of diagnostics to determine the source of your problem.
