My Indy got the code with tech 2 and nobody included the dealer knew what that meant.

Of course dealer said let's replace the whole system for 2 grand. Originally the problem occurred on a rainy day in April while I was going about 25mph. The SID went "Bing-Bong" and I got the Xmas tree warning lights on the instrument cluster. Though if I started it again the lights would go out and the ESP switch would work again and presumably all was back to normal. Had no speedometer/tachometer issue. Then it was a few weeks until the problem manifested itself again but it was still intermittent. The day I drove to the Indy to get the code read, the lights came back on immediately after starting up and went into reverse to back out of his parking lot. restarting the car didn't help. Howeverthe problem didn't return for quite a while so I forgot about it afterwards. It happened maybe once or twice more, in the rain. Then looking at WIS recently beause my coolant bypass valve failed, I found the section on the abs faults. C0131 is the pressure sensor like the Indy said (but knew nothing about) but WIS says this sensor sticks out of the and module an points toward the firewall.

Lo and behold when replacing CBV, I found the firewall trim piece held on by a large plastic screw in that area, which was loose! it was touching that pressure sensor! I tightened the screw a few turns and now the trim is not touching the sensor and knock on wood I haven't had the problem since. Also helping is keeping the car garaged when it rains now. But there's no garage at work so car still gets wet all day anyway but there has not een a reoccurrence since I tightened that plastic screw!!
