All the stuff you've had to do is normal maintenance and wear cycle replacement. They happen with every car. At closing on 120K you are at a normal point for a bunch of stuff to need replacing. But once you're through that wear cycle the car should work pretty well for some time.
Try this approach. Take your car to your indy and have him go over it and let you know the good, the bad and the thoroughly scary. Find out how much the 120K work will cost, as well as other repairs. How much life is left on your brakes? How are your tires? Is the exhaust OK? Get a sense of those costs and when they are likely to come up.
That knowledge lets you make a more reasoned decision. The car isn't worth a lot, so to get much for it you'll have to sell it privately. And you still have to find something else you'd like to drive. If you decide to buy something newer, you should try to get something with a known service history and then have a sense of when it will need work. Because if it's a used car it will.
Good luck! FWIW, the 2003 and later 9-5s are very nice and proving quite reliable. And the prices are pretty good these days.
