I am not a hardcore DIY'er but I've done my fair share. Engine mounts, brakes, filters, PCV kits, BEP valves....still, I have all but given up on my recent situation.

The car is parked in Brooklyn on an avenue, street cleaning is on Wednesday, I am doing everything I can to replace the CPS (which I am 99% sure is the culprit based on HOURS of research on here and the web) but I just can't get that damn screw. I have 1/4 socket, I have 3/8, I have 10" have 3" I have 10", i have 1", i have the univ joint...
#$$%(*%&$)(%*_)%*..... nothing!

I can't get at it from the bottom, car is after all dead, and if I can't get it done today, in the f#^(#*# rain... I will just have to call for a flatbed, take the day off from work and get the car towed on Wednesday.

How f#&^#&^09 hard can it be to get one T30 screw off. I can't seem to get the angle right.. I PB blastered the screw multiple times but each time I give it elbow it won't budge and then eventually the t30 slips off....actually I didn't even get enough cracks at it because as soon as I move a muscle in my hand or palm the whole setup comes crashing down. If I recall correctly MI rodger said he tried with just a 1/4 drive a flex and the t30 bit... tried that as well...

Today I will get my clamp removal tool from storage and start gutting the front end, turbo tubes, hoses, it's all going.... if it wants to be on a flatbed it's going to have to put up a fight...

I am at my wits end....such a simple job causing me so much grief. I don't want to have to deal with towing, yanking the car, scraping on flatbed, scraping on way off the flatbed, mechanics, days off from work...

This is causing me so much aggravation...
