Hood Protector installation?

A friend gave me a Saab hood protector. Not the little adhesive strip, but a polycarbonate plastic "fairing" that attaches to the leading edge of the hood. You can see the type of thing I'm talking abtou at the link from one of the site sponsors.

I think I've got all the bits, but I'm just not sure how to attach them all to the hood. Is there drilling? Is it just a clamp action?

If anyone has photos of an installation, I can probably work it out from close-up shots of the hardware in place. Or, if someone has a set of instructions they can scan, that would be great, too.

Oh - and I've looked at that saabdocs site, and it's not there. I think it was a USA-only accessory...
