i bought the car before i had my mechanic look at it, and here's the bad news: exhaust flexpipe leaking, will need to be replaced for inspection (do the whole thing for ~1200), LF tie-rod has play, sway bar links have play, RF tie needs replacement, minor oil leaks (could have power steering problem); original clutch (139k miles) replacement ~2000, needs at least one tire (it was run flat and plugged). park assist has one sensor pushed in, so it's always at a high-pitched sound in reverse, radio is fried (won't even communicate with his electronic gizmo), headlight sensor will need replacement fairly soon (200?) - even though the cabin is PERFECT (intact leather, no stains no rips), he says the car is in FAIR condition. and i should check the previous mechanic records to see if it had regular oil changes. in his opinion, if they skipped oil changes, the car is ****ed.

i think i'm going to restore the '95 9K Aero instead, that's my baby
