it's a 2002 (if i didn't mention it). i sold it for 4500 last night :) and i paid 4000 for it last week. it is a 2002, and it was starting to grow on me. but i still think i'll be happier with a restored 9k. yes, i knew about the park assist minor problem, and the xenon leveling sensor problem and the totally blown radio. i went to the dealer (gasp!) to get the service records of previous owner. i myself would NEVER go to the dealer EXCEPT to get the previous service records, but the car had oil changed almost every 5000 miles, sometimes went up to 11,000 but all in all, they were pretty good with it. i had read about the sludge problem, and my saab mechanic (who used to work for the dealer) said if the oil changes were skipped throughout its life, you could be looking at a sludge problem. dealer verified that no vent kit had been installed, and not to assume that it will need a clutch. it was a nice enough car, but i want another car to LOVE, not just like. i'm hopelessly in love with my 9k Aero 5 speed.
