I have a set of Michelin Pilot Exaltos A/S on my '04 Mazda6 wagon. The tires are 215/50-17 and 91H. Mazda OEM Michelins Pilot HX MXM4 were 93V and terrible tires.
Put Pilot Exaltos on at 48K miles and I'm almost at the wear bars at 105K miles (so 57K on the tires). Manual transmission but driving style is moderate. Did a Northern AZ roadtrip this past Christmas and had no real issues on snow packed roads there -- about 50K miles on the tires at that point.
I live in the So Calif high desert, almost no rain, cold in winter but little or no snow, up to 110F in summer (rare). Tires rotated every 7500 miles along with proper inflation, etc.
A good tire choice if the load rating is appropriate for your car. My new set will be at least 93 on the load rating, though I'll probably stay with 'H' on the speed rating.
