It's probably battery time. 50% charge is nowhere near enough to start the car.
Saab's batteries have a bad rep here on the forum but it's probably not really the battery and certainly nothing to do with all the electronics.
The problem is that Saabs often sit on the dealer's lot for months and months before they sell. Unless the batteries are frequently charged they will have a short life because batteries don't last if they sit discharged.
3 years doesn't by itself mean it's bad. The battery in my '97 Ranger lasted over 10 years. The battery in my '58 Chevy lasted about 7 years--1958 battery technology. The key is how the battery was used. If the car was driven regularly with a good voltage regulator and didn't sit discharged on the dealer's lot before being sold, it should last as long as other batteries.
And all the electronics? Once the car is started, all the electronics run off the alternator.
