Thanx for your detailed and well illustrated write up! I had seen it before but my situation is a little different. You obviously had a 13 mm hex bolt holding this center pulley on originally. I do not. I have the cursed recessed hex socket bolt that requires a modified Allen wrench. I've tried several times to loosen it, with advice from the Fix My Saab guy's suggested cut Allen wrench attached with a small matching socket to an extension to get better turning leverage. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get whatever size Allen wrench stub to seat in the socket and I may have galled or stripped out the recessed socket! Next step is ????? Maybe raise engine to get more working room.... Drill hole through wheel well to get head on approach with EZ-Out for stuck bolt? (Probably not good idea drilling through potential unibody frame member.) Maybe I buy some time with a little TriFlow lubrication of the squeaky pulley bearing. Then again, getting access is likey impossible with the washer/dust shield. Stay tuned....
