This seems true from what I can see, who'd give up a unique and advanced european executive car bought new for $45K and sell it 10 years later for $5K, even with 100,000 miles on it? I'd have expected the 1999-2009 9-5 Aero to fetch a good resale but they go for thousands less then the same year Ford Mustang V8 GT. I'm just tryin' to show the discrepency between values... Love the mustang but quality/fit/finish isn't up to that of a Saab, so it's surprising this is the case. It's difficult to find a car like the 9-5 Aero comparably equipt for such an inexpensive price, perhaps a ford Taurus, or Chevy Malibu? That seems to be about the same price as the same year Saab 9-5 Aero, give or take! Check KBB. What is the Saab automotive company going to do? Now with parent company Spyker, is Saab gonna reclaim their position and boost resale values?
