Cupping is usually caused by excessive "TOE" IN settings. When the suspension is compressed too much by sagging springs and not at the right ride height the toe setting will get more degrees than it should. This causes cupping.
Saabs eat rear shocks and they should be replaced in most cases around 60-80,000 miles.
Put new shocks on you car and check the ride height. If the ride height is not to specification you should fix it with spacers before the alignment of the rear.
