At 100,000 miles you need front and rear struts/shocks replaced.
The rear suspension is a 3 link design that is set up for the outer rear tire to increase TOE-IN and to increase CAMBER as the suspension compresses in a turn. This makes for great handling by problems as the rubber in the suspension and the springs sag a bit from use.
Tire cupping is a problem with these cars and is caused by excessive TOE-IN. Excessive camber will give you uneven wear but not cupping.
Rubber bushings wearing will also change the rear alignment.
When the springs sag and ride height goes below spec, you will get more camber and more TOE-IN. Start with measuring ride height. On a 2002 wagon it should be 610mm. Measure from the inner fender flare to the bottom edge of the aluminum wheel where it meets the tire.
Get the ride height back to 610mm with shims or spacers under the bottom of the coil spring. You can replace the springs, but you still have to measure the ride height of the new springs before aligning, and in 6 months the springs will have a new ride height anyway. I prefer adjusting the height of the old springs.
At 100,000 miles your upper lateral bushings are shot. I would replace the upper and lower lateral bushings. I also like to replace the front bushing in the trailing arm with a poly bushing. It really tightens up the rear. Theses can be done DIY, but you will need to press out the lateral arm bushings and press them back in.
I have Konis on my 2001 and like them a lot. We have OEM on my wife's 2003 and they are ok.
Genuinesaab sells Konis and a nice spacer kit. Also some good spacer kits on eBay.
Once you get the bushings right and the ride height where it should be, a good alignment to spec will not be hard and should not require shims, which are a bear to install.
You will not believe the difference in handling.
