I filled up this morning with an embarrassingly large amount of fuel. Thrity miles later my "Low Fuel Light" illuminates, the gage drops to Empty, then quickly resets to Full. During the next 10 to 15 miles this happens about ten to twelve more times, sometimes resetting to 3/8, or 1/2, or 7/8, but most times resetting to Full. The length of time the gage displays Empty seems to be increasing.

The fuel pump was replaced by the Dealer approximately 4 years/110,000 miles ago so I asusme it was the full pump with sender unit.

No baffles in fuel tank.

The "Low Fuel" light illuminates before the gage drops, which to me indicates an electrical problem rather than a mechanical float issue.

Other than the electrical connector atop the pump beneath the rear seat, anywhere else I should look for a loose connection or corroded ground?

Thanks,
