It's probably 1 of 2 in the world with a 5-spd.
Nothing peculiar about it except for the rear load-leveling suspension. It still sags after a while and chews through tires like any 9-5 wagon, but there doesn't seem to be a clean consensus as to why any 9-5's sag. One specialist you call will say it's the shocks, a different specialist will say bushings, and another will say springs. If you take it to someone who wants to replace the load leveling shocks, they're $$$ but you can always retrofit them with standard shocks.
Other than that, basic 9-5 stuff. Drop the oil pan and clean out the oil pickup screen first thing. And make sure it's got the updated PCV system installed.
