I am going to try to put this as clear as I can. Lets say in an imaginary world, I purchase a 2001 Aero, . for $4,500 Am I forced to drive that car? No, I am not, I dont like the old style front end, so ...part and paint and labor to install updated bumper is aprox.3k. so were at 7,500. btw silver is my favorite color. I love those rims, I have priced those rims, crappy condition 150.00 each( Volvo Saab Auto Dis, and others dont even have a set) New condition $350.00 each. According to the seller they were powder coated with clear coat. Considering new a set is $1,400 to the prev. poster please tell me or show me your connection to get a full set in great condition as I cant source any ! Ok I will use a new price of ( low ball) $1,000..... Now were are up to $ 8,500 ok now lets ad additional $1,000 for new lowering kit for that 2001 year car, to include, koni shocks ,struts, lowering springs, and install. were up to $9,500 A wood steering whel (which I like ) $250.00 making it $ 9,750 $500.00 for a stage 2 tune with the bypass and open air filter Now $10,250 ? Ok, add the cost of NEW subframe bushings installed? Ok, Min> $500,00, now $10,750, . $200.00 window tint $10,950, A rear tail incase the suggested 2001 doesnt have, how about used $300.00 now $11,250, a stereo system upgrade and install $ I dont know what he has, but on the weblink it says profile amp, and aftermarket sub, ..lets say $500 with instal so $11,650, New cross drilled , slotted rotors $250.00, now $11,900 New water pump, starter, altenator, heater core, fuel pump, cv joints, interstate battery, front and tranny side engine motore mounts, ( guy has receipts to show work was done after 125, k miles...) An extra di cassette, New amm meter, and 4 fresh pistons, valves, .. ok, so add that to the 2001 car suggested since it willl probably need all that later anyways, ( maybe not pistons) Whats the grand total to make that 2001 up to the specs of this car? When I say its a car that has everyhting the wa I would want it, THATS WHAT MAKES ME THINK I SHOUL GO FOR IT ... Ya, one of my family members dissagrees, thats why i asked for advise, ..bit all I got was get a diff year, get a diff color, get this get that, well cool then I will be up to $ 14, 000 ?
