they are not expensive + won't result in the negative commentary this approach caused...

the wheels look nice. I have a 2004 with the same wheels. They aren't that rare though - most of the 2002 9-3SE's came with them. Sets of 17" Saab wheels are readily available for $200-300. A set. Not each. Sometimes even with tires for hardly any more... just watch CL. People part out cars... Of course perfect condition is worth more than ratty...

but you're not parting out your car so this is all irrelevant! If I added up the value of all the parts of my 9-5 it would exceed the market value of the complete car... of course nobody's going to seriously pay $3k to put a 2002+ front end on a -2001... silly...

I also don't understand why the Viggen badges on a 9-5? maybe they look nice, but it's not a Viggen... kinda like putting an Aero badge on a Viggen... why?

but seriously, your car looks alright. hopefully it is in as good shape mechanically as you claim. take out a classified ad. it will work much better than flogging it here! I'd say the folks here were pretty generous... it is distasteful to try to bypass the classifieds as they help support this site + it goes against bb policy... a similar recent posting on the c900 bb (a legitimate buyer posting the entire CL ad with his question: "should I buy this?") got seriously thrashed by a few (not myself actually), convincing the buyer to look elsewhere... just not a good approach!
