I suppose it depends on the definition of "well maintained".
At 100k, or any 2004 really, if the vacuum hoses are original, they are probably due, but many may not realize this + that can cause a problem. We got a CEL from a leaking hose 2 days before our last big trip... signal to replace the hoses! So packing them might not hurt.
I also would swap out the donut for a full size spare - only lose about an inch or so of trunk height + so much better if you get a flat. I do this all winter... if nothing else, make sure the donut is at adequate pressure... nothing worse than to swap a tire in winter + have the new wheel soft + questionable!
I also take along a relatively complete toolkit just in case I can DIY myself out of a problem... but for most, a credit card will do that!
I wouldn't bother with a DIC since the new ones give ample warning, but a spare belt would be good, spare wiper blades, fluids etc are handy. I haven't got around to doing the coolant bypass valve in ours, so I have a mackay hose kit I sometimes throw in there also...
